Kurafuto Works is a Mumbai based firm that believes in engaging with the imaginative process of design at par with its physical manifestation.

At KW, we strive to create a cohesion between various design streams by the underlying idea of respecting the user & space. We are keen admirers of art which makes us sensitive towards our creative thinking and design ethics.

Nikita Nadkarni

B.Arch, Academy of Architecture, Mumbai

Nikita Nadkarni is the co-founder of Kurafuto Works.

After graduating from Academy of Architecture in 2012, Nikita has worked with Talati & Panthaky Associated Designers as well as SJK Architects, before beginning her own freelancing venture in 2014.

Her approach to design is based on a thorough user & function oriented ideology. She has a firm grasp on the practical execution of projects, processing client requirements and formulating viable solutions keeping the design philosophy intact.

Nikita has a keen interest in art & crafts which reflects on the projects at KW, forming the firm's base principles.

Akshay Narwekar

B.Arch, Academy of Architecture, Mumbai

M.Arch in Emergent Technologies & Design - Architectural Association, London UK

Along with Nikita, Akshay is also the co-founder of Kurafuto Works.

After graduating from Academy of Architecture in 2011, Akshay has worked in Dubai with Archgroup Consultants from 2011 -2014 before pursuing his majors in Em.Tech at the AA School in London.

Akshay resumed work with Archgroup from 2016 -2019 for another 3 years after completing post graduation. He is well versed with architecture & interior having worked on a wide array of mixed-use projects in Dubai with experienced designers.

Akshay's sensitive thought process on design stems from his passion for art and photography. The belief that all creative fields complement one another in more than one way has been essential to KW's underlying philosophy.
